Our wools and our dye

Our yarns & our dyeing

Our wools come primarily from Argentine and Australian farms that respect animal welfare and do not practice mulesing. We also work with English and Italian mills depending on the bases.

For dyeing, we notably use Greener Shades and Eurolana Wool Dye, which are free of heavy metals, as well as Dharma, Jacquard, and Tamivi Dyes, which specialize in fiber dyeing.

Bases for every project

Lace, Fingering, Sport, DK, Worsted… we offer various yarn weights and numerous compositions for both knitting and crochet.

Merino, nylon, silk, mohair, cotton, bamboo: each fiber brings its own texture, drape, and way of taking color.

The unique nature of hand-dyed yarn

Our skeins are dyed by hand in our studio. Even when we reproduce a colorway, slight differences can appear between two dye lots, or even between several skeins from the same lot.

For projects requiring multiple skeins, we therefore recommend alternating them regularly to achieve a more uniform result (we suggest the Helix Knitting technique).

These slight variations are part of the charm of hand-dyed yarn and make each skein unique.

Some care instructions

Despite multiple rinses after dyeing, some colors, especially darker ones, may still bleed slightly during the first few washes.

We advise you to hand wash your projects in cold or lukewarm water, without scrubbing, and then lay them flat to dry, away from sunlight.

Colors may also vary slightly depending on your screen. We always do our best to ensure that our photographs reproduce the actual shades of the skeins as accurately as possible.
